E-Craft live support Steve gettin comfy with the plumbing

SUNDAY AUGUST 4th
First off, a big F.U. to U-Haul!!! Apparently they don't rent closed trailers for more than 24 hours in NYC. So we get stuck with an open top trailer and have to wrap a damn tarp across the top of it.After multiple stops we finally got the tarp wrapped correctly, even though it looked like a shark attacked it in some places. 10 hours to Columbus. We stopped along the way and piled into a hotel just outside Colombus fora couple hours sleep. 7 people in a 4 person room. you can see the results at left.

YEE-HAW! on the way to ohio...

COLUMBUS, OH - E-CRAFT / DJ HELLRAVER @ SKULLY'S
Driving into Colombus we werent sure what to expect, but Skully's is definately the "hottest" llooking venue we have seen in a while. Decorated with car-detailingstyle flames and leopard print around the bar, this place just needed Betty page in that famous queen of the jungle bathing suit sitting at the bar. Very rockabilly. With a large stage and upstairs with a pool table and couches this place would be a great place to chill out on the offdays too. Not forgetting the diner part that is in the front, where you can perch on the diner stools and have a drink with any of their original sandwiches ( i recommend the "Firebird") or relax in a booth with a juicey burger and their "famous" spicey curly fries. The people here were all really great to deal with. Great venue, but now we see that the Power Converter/ Adapter request on the technical rider sent out 2 months ago is obviously going to be a problem... After several trips to Radio Shack and other area electronic stores we have to try and make the show work with out the vocal processor. From the crowds reaction they didnt seem to notice the change in vocal processing. Though it seemed like many people in Colombus didnt know much about E-Craft, they sure werent going to forget them. Dancing and cheering and an "E Craft!" chant for encore definately kept the energy going. DJ HELLRAVER laid down the law on the dance floor keepin the crowd moving before E-Craft went on, spinning a wide variety of music. The promoter Rodney did a great job, and the food and sound were excellent. I suppose a lot more could have gone wrong as this was the first of the tour more or less!!
Thanks to the Flesh Field/ Dubok crew and DJ Batty from Cleveland for coming
out and supporting. ( as much as we could see you through the fogmachine smoke)
If ever in Columbus check out Magnolias on N. High Street, possibly "one of
the best records stores I've ever been to" says DJ HELLRAVER.
after plaing the show we had to jump in the van and drive the 10 hours to Madison, WI.
uhg..

Passing by Chicago on our way to Madison-
without having slept yet...

MADISON, WI - E-CRAFT/ STROMKERN/ DJ HELLRAVER @ THE INFERNO
After a grueling 10 hour drive supported mostly by a new energy drink called BAWLS, we arrive at the venue. nice place, with really cool atmosphere, awesome lights (if only you could see our tourlighting tech's smile when he got there) and good parking (always a plus after the NYC incident). Loaded in our stuff and went to the hotel to sleeeeeeeep!! Our promoter for the evening was Matt Fanale, who did a great job working this show. The entire staff was more than helpful, and were very nice to everyone.Local heroes STROMKERN put on an awesome show!! Ned has added live guitar to their show, but don't fear, it sounds really good. STROMKERN is touring with
Seabound In a few months, so that is not to be missed!!! Decent merch sales tonight, the crowd was really into all the acts on the bill.
Bart from WTII Records made an appearance to check out the show and get stuck
working the STROMKERN merch booth!!! Ahahahahah¦Thanks also to DJ K-Y from
Milwaukee for coming out and showing support.
All said and done, Matt Fanale and the INFERNO staff did an excellent job.
