on
the road to Detroit
|
DAY OFF - Driving to Pontiac, MI to stay the night at the DELIEN/ Toybreaker/ Dethany compound, and make it to Detroit by Thursday for the show there. Along the way we got sidetracked by a lust for fireworks...
ok so after arriving we walk into the worlds coolest apartment. A large studio in the truest sense of the
word- the first hlf looks like a gallery space while the downstairs houses a machine shop and music studio
Dethany definally gets points for this place. Shortly after arriving, there was much food for eating-
including chicken satay and drinks. We were also greeted by one of the house cats Thor. yay real sleep!

After some much needed lounging around and trips to the local army navy store, we set
out for the club. Alvins looks like its fast becoming Detroit's CBGB's. Bills include UK
SUBS Oxymoron, amoung other well know names in the punk scene. So its no surprise
to see another underground music show to happen there. Unfortunetly Headscan had to
cancel- but the show went off without a hitch regardless. Detroit bought alot of merch!
thanks for the support on that end. It seemed like everyone had great time. Thanks to
Joe Darque and Brent Maxwell who did an awesome job-thanks for ample drink tickets
and the shots! Special thanks to Thor, Dethany's cat for his endorsement of E-Craft
and tour support Terrorfakt. |

Ah, Pittsburg. First off Club Laga has to be one if not THE coolest club in
Pittsburg. Great lights too, but unfortunetly due to numerous sound problems
we cant say it was the best show. Dj Heim and his girlfriend where very hospitable
and very professional- really great to deal with. There were about 4 bands that
played out - first up was Loss of Will ( www.lossofwill.com) who had a fantastic set.
Later on a surprisingly good noise band whose name we are at a loss for, and last
on before E-Craft came the hometown heros- Forced, who have alot of potential!
The bands where on back to back as there where also many problems with all
the monitors and Dj booth so HELLRAVER had the night off. E-Craft plowed
through the sound problems and prevailed. Perhaps next time guys. |

NYC! This was without a doubt the best show so far. 500 people turned out to see E-Craft rock the stage.
And by the time Dj Hellraver we had 800. For those who showed up early, Interface opened, playing a
great set. Merch sales were solid and thanks to one person who bought $80.00 worth of merch!! We dare
you all to beat that! Unfortunetly we dont have pictures from the who for 2 reasons- relm* was too busy
with sales and everyone else was glued to the stage! Great show and im really sorry if you missed it!
Thanks to Hal and Neville, the two limey brits, for reaffirming that New York City is still the greatest city
in the world!! |

After an extremely long and painful drive directly from Downtime/ The Batcave at about 2:30am we
arrived in Rochester, New York about noon. Thanks to the amazing Dan Dangler we were able to go
and collapse in our really nice hotel rooms, and go for a dip in the hotel pool that afternoon too.
The club, Industry, is a newly renovated place- steel and concrete, tre industriale. But it seems that this
show fell victim to the start of the work week, and attendance was low. Terrorfakt's set went well
and was recieved with enthusiastic dancing. We did have alot of fun, as always, in Rochester. E-Craft
had energetic set as always - keeping the crowd dancing until the end. After the bands Dj HELLRAVER
stepped up to the decks and charged us up for the rest of the night, until he kicked over the merch booth.
Following the club we all went to Dans house for a nice after-hours BBQ before returning to the hotel. |

Day off! Today we drive back to NYC to rest up
before going to 6Flags.The scenery has been
pretty much the same: Farms. alot like the one
at the left. We did, however, find alittle
something when we stopped to get gas early on
in the trip. |
